Leagues
Rock Creek Curling offers league play for curlers of all skill and accessibility levels in three distinct seasons - fall, winter, and spring. 4v4 leagues consist of two hours of gameplay. Doubles leagues are 90 minutes in length.
Monday’s 4v4 league is an open format. Tuesday and Thursday evenings offer recreational and competitive leagues. Wednesday evening has both a recreational league and a developmental league designed for curlers seeking coaching and feedback on overall skill development or specific positional input. On-ice coaching will be available, and teams with games on the live stream each week will receive post-game strategic notes.
For the Fall and Winter seasons, Competitive Doubles will be held on Monday nights, while Open Doubles will be held on Saturday afternoons. In the Spring, Open Doubles will be the late draw on Thursday. All leagues at Rock Creek are open to teams of all genders.
When completing your league registration, you will have the option to note any teammate requests, the number of which depends on the league. We will honor these requests in our leagues to the extent possible, but please be aware that league registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis; we cannot always guarantee that a teammate will be placed on a team if they have not registered by the league registration deadline.
If you don’t have a team, don’t worry! We will help match you with a team during the registration process.
Rock Creek Curling membership and USA Curling membership are required for league participation. Be sure to have your Rock Creek Curling membership before registering for leagues, and have your USA Curling member ID ready at league registration.

If you are entirely new to curling, we recommend signing up for an Intro to Curling course. These courses will feature weekly progressive instruction and gameplay led by Rock Creek Curling’s instructors and experienced curlers.
League Formats
Open: Teams of 4, all-gender, mixed experience levels.
Recreational: Teams of 4, all-gender, mixed experience levels. Just for fun!
Competitive: Teams of 4, all-gender, with competitive aspirations and skill levels. Expect a challenging level of play!
Developmental: Teams of 4, all-gender, for curlers in their 1st or 2nd year of curling looking to grow their skills. On-ice coaching and post-game strategy notes. One teammate request honored, subject to availability.
Open Doubles: Teams of 2, all-gender, mixed experience levels. 90-minute games with doubles rules.
Competitive Doubles: Teams of 2, all-gender, with competitive aspirations and skill levels. Expect a challenging level of play!

Payment Plans
Rock Creek Curling offers a 3-part payment plan for all leagues, allowing you to spread the investment of your curling across several months, depending on the seasons you curl. An initial payment is required at the time of registration.
